Job Description

The candidate will be primarily responsible for the design, development, testing, implementation and maintenance of PeopleSoft Campus Solutions functions.

 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the development, testing, maintenance and support of PeopleSoft Campus Solutions functions.
  • Advise and propose functional and technical solutions to address business requirements.
  • Gather and analyse business / data conversion requirements; Document functional / configuration specifications; Prepare test cases / scenarios; Manage changes to the requirements / specifications.
  • Involve in functional testing including setup and configuration of non-production environment, prepare test data, develop test scripts, perform testing, report and track defects.
  • Support user requests in production environment; Troubleshoot system and process issues; Develop query / report to support business operation.
  • Perform impact assessment, retrofit customizations and conduct System Integration Test during upgrade.

Qualifications
  • Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of implementation experience in PeopleSoft Campus Solutions 9.x, with at least 1 full PeopleSoft project implementation.
  • At least 8 years of development experience in PeopleSoft and PeopleTools Programming, including but not limited to Component/Page Design, Fluid UI, PeopleCode, Application Engine, BI Publisher, PS Query, SOAP/REST Web Services, Component Interface, and Data Mover.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of integrating PeopleSoft with third-party systems.
  • Knowledge and experience in HTML5, CSS, Javasript, Node JS, Python, and Java would be added advantages.
  • Ability to comprehend the business requirements and converting them into solution designs and presenting them to both functional and technical stakeholders. 
  • Good team player.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and pressure. 
  • Ability to multi-task and be flexible.
