Job Description

Job holder will be required to dissect and prepare of human cadaver specimens for the Department of Anatomy. The incumbent will also ensure the professionalism, high level of confidentiality, adequacy and Standard operating procedures of the Department and University.

  • Help to produce prosected specimens for the anatomy Museum
  • Involve in the body donation program which includes receiving, cremation and sea burial of Silent Mentors.
  • Serve as point of contact to next of kin of Silent Mentors
  • Embalm and prosection of Silent Mentors in prepartaion for all the classes the department offers
  • Setting up of practical class
  • Manage housekeeping and inventory managemnet of the Anatomy Hall

 

 


 


Qualifications
  • Diploma in Science related course with amajor in human anatomy
  • Minimum of 2 years work related experience
  • Must be able to prepare, describe and dissect human cadavers
  • Possess knowledge in medical terminology and human anatomy.
  • Knowledge of laboratory etiquette and strong interpersonal skills
