Job Description
  • Optimize the administrative process for the smooth operation of the research groups and lab
  • Assist PIs in technology and communication of research
  • Provide various reports including progress reports, a calendar of events, financial reports, etc. against the work plan and budgets
  • Serve as secretariat for meetings
  • Act as the primary administrative and operational liaison
  • Monitor the expenses incurred according to value principle and in line with budget constraint
  • Assist PIs for spearheading initiatives, conceptualization and management of events
  • Maintain and manage day-to-day website
  • Perform other duties as and when assigned by supervisor

Qualifications
  • A recognized university/polytechnic degree, preferably with at least 2 years’ work experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Ability to work independently and proactively
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Application (Word, Excel, and Powerpoint)
  • Self-driven and resourceful
  • Be able to work at all levels in academia, and liaise with internal departments and external collaborators
  • Demonstrate initiative and good interpersonal communication skills
  • Good writing skills and experienced with web management
  • Analytical, resourceful and energetic
  • Able to multi-task and deliver under tight deadlines
