Job Description

Functioning as a member of the HR Partnering team based in Engineering, the HR Partner will partner and support 1-2 department Heads/ Deputy Heads to manage, in a proactive and consultative approach, a full spectrum of HR functions which includes but not limited to the following:
• Manage the appointment and re-appointment of staff on Administration and Research schemes. 
• Facilitate the Annual Review exercise for Administration and Research staff 
• Provide support for Faculty staff programmes and processes such as Promotion and Tenure, Mid-Term Advisory Report, teaching awards, consultation work etc.
• Attending to audit requests
• Prepare and review manpower statistics and reports
• Talent management and development
• Disciplinary matters
• Other duties as assigned


Qualifications

• University Degree holder or equivalent 
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to relate well with people at all levels and good service orientation 
• Good command of written and spoken English language. 
• Resourceful and self-driven with a high degree of professional integrity.
