The Ecosystem Development team operates one of the most extensive startup ecosystem in the world, leveraging on world-class research and innovation capabilities twinned with market connectivity through our regional and global nodes.   • Gain good understanding of NUS Enterprise's Ecosystem Development (Incubation) business area and related marketing needs
  • Translate understanding of business area needs to conceptualise effective marketing strategy via various integrated marketing campaigns across various channels
  • Develop and implement regional marketing and branding strategies with clear priorities and focus against timelines. Activities include:
    • Content strategy, ideation, creation and distribution
    • Event planning and execution
    • Defining and designing Marketing collaterals
    • Managing the marketing budget
    • Partnering with media and PR
  • Drive marketing and branding consistency across the region
  • Work with colleagues and extended resources to lead and see through implementation of plans
  • Set and track marketing KPIs for the region, provide guidance to ensure success
  • Be a coach to the marketing teams
  • You are accountable for the success of the campaigns and must be able to analyse both quantitative and qualitative performance of the marketing plans

  • Qualifications

    The role is best suited for an outgoing personality who enjoys interacting with people, especially with start-ups and entreprenuers.


    This person writes well, is conversant with different communications channels, have wide interests and high energy levels. He/She is constantly on the lookput for new ideas, and excited with opportunities to experiemnt and learn.


    He/She functions well in a fast paced environment, where change is constant, and is able to grasp business needs well, and is able to quickly adapt marketing activities to suit.


    A team player who enjoys originating and excecuting creative marketing and communications campaigns to build a strong brand and community.


    Technical competencies

    • Degree with miminum of 10 years experience in marketing, preferably within the startup or tech ecosystem
    • Proven experience in successfully marketing startup-focused programs or events.
    • Strong regional market understanding and network.
    • Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills
    • Expert in multiple marketing communications channels (offline and digital), social media and events
    • Prior experience with organising and running events a plus
    • Prior startup working experience is a plus
