Finance Business Partner (Senior Manager / Manager - FP&A)

To provide analytical support and management reporting for Financial Planning & Analysis unit within the Office of Finance

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Preparation of Management Reporting ie All Funds Income & Expenditure (All Funds)
• Provide management with timely, insightful and accurate financial and business analysis to facilitate business decisions / drive performance
• Provides support through financial modelling, analysis, scenario planning, strategic planning, and business insights and building of dashboard
• Support the Administration of Off-Budget Funds
• Business Partner Faculties and Central Admin Departments in the areas of All Funds Reporting, Balance Score Card and Continuing Education & Training (CET)
• Continuously work to improve the coordination and communication among various Finance Leads as well as Central Finance team so as to build and maintain effective relationships.
• Manage communications and coordinate with stakeholders across all functions, including information collection and alignment
• Take on ad hoc and special projects when required

• Degree majoring in Accountancy, Finance, Economics preferably with a minimum of 4 years working experience.  
• Strong financial and analytical skills.
• High proficiency in the use of Excel and PowerPoint are essential.  Knowledge of SAP S4, VBA, Macros or any analytical or visualisation tool eg Power BI will be an advantage
• Organised, meticulous, resourceful, innovative, self-motivated, with a positive work attitude and responsive and adaptive to changes.
• Good writing, communication, interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders of all levels
• Independent worker with a strong sense of accountability
