Short Description

Reporting to Associate Director, the candidate will be part of the undergraduate studies team and will administer and manage academic programmes (including curriculum matters), support project related activities and take charge of the School's recruitment of student tutors and their renumeration payments, honours roll for student tutors as well as student feedback exercise in each semester


Job Description


•    Organisation of teaching workshops at the start of each semester
•    Management of appointment contracts for undergraduate student tutors
•    Provide administrative support for payments to undergraduate student tutors
•    Assignment of teaching assistants for managing student appeals for tutorial registration/workload waivers, etc.
•    Support various project coordinators in the management of project selection exercises for undergraduates
•    Participation in system enhancements for operational efficiency of undergraduate business processes
•    Preparation of data for class attendance system and student feedback exercise for each semester
•    Coordinate annual polytechnic diploma accreditation exercise
•    Assist Chairman, Faculty Teaching Committee, in the identification of outstanding undergraduate student tutors for recognition for excellence     in teaching
•    Data preparation for Module Registration system in each semester as well as managing and processing various module registration appeals from     students
•    Work closely with Asst Deans, deputy heads, and co-workers to oversee undergraduate degree programmes and organise school-related events.
 


Qualifications

•    Degree in any discipline
•    Experience in the Education industry will be a plus.
•    Proficient in Microsoft Office / Web publishing software/ SAP for data reporting.
•    Team player and possess excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
•    Ability to multi-task and attend to details
