Job Purpose

 

 

To support integrated marketing communications (Physical and Virtual), management of outreach events and publicity for programmes, community engagement, school news and publications, events and milestones, in order to promote NUS Computing’s education programmes and research efforts. 

 


Duties & Responsibilities

 

1. Integrated Design & Communications

 

  • Conceptualize and design communication or marketing collaterals for web, mobile and print materials (eg. brochures, banners, murals, signages, t-shirts, gifts).
  • Ensure all related digital and/or print materials adhere to NUS brand guidelines. 
  • Manage corporate assets, including designing, curation and procurement of assets such as corporate gifts. 
  • Source for and liaise with, vendors, and follow the relevant procurement processes to produce print and digital collaterals.
  • Maintain, conceptualize and design UI/UX of faculty’s website/microsite.

 

2. Social Media

 

  • Plan, research and curate original content for social media posts.
  • Produce and update website copy and content.
  • Manage social media assets, including the production and curation of platform appropriate content (ie. graphic, photos, videos) and community management.
  • Collate and report on performance statistics for all campaigns and communication channels.


3. Event Management

 

  • Support team’s organization of online and/or physical outreach events and activities (eg. Open Day/ Info Session / Webinars) and adhoc projects as required. 
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders such as faculty members and student ambassadors to support team’s organization of outreach events and activities. 
     

Requirements

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications Studies, and equivalent, with experience in Communications, Visual Communication, Design Communications and Events Management.
  • Candidate with 2 or more years of relevant work experience will be considered for the Senior Executive position. Experience in higher education, IT and high-tech sectors preferred.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English, with good copywriting skills.
  • Have a good eye for design, and a strong ability to produce effective and creative marketing materials across various mediums, with experience in integrated design (ie. Graphic Design, UI/UX web design, including software skills such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator). 
  • Proficient in various social media tools and experience and managing online marketing / community engagement campaigns. 
  • Meticulous with strong interpersonal, time management, communications and organizational skills. 
  • Experience in content production, photography, and/or video production will be advantageous. 
  • Ability to manage various tasks at any one time, and to keep track of other tasks.
