Job Purpose

To take charge of projects assigned, and be responsible for both the fieldwork and data management of the project. The role will be responsible for assisting the Project Manager in executing fieldwork duties for research projects. The selected candidate will manage a team of interviewers, ensuring high quality and timely data collection. 


Job Description

•    Assisting Project Manager in setting up the project 
•    Providing support in project coordination for fieldwork
•    Recruiting, training and leading interviewers to complete the fieldwork on time
•    Briefing and monitoring interviewers on fieldwork projects
•    Ensuring data and fieldwork quality control at the source
•    Managing of resources to ensure the completion of projects in a timely manner
•    Checking for accuracy and acceptability of data collected before preparing payment to interviewers and/or recruiter

 


Qualifications

•    Proven interpersonal skills and a positive attitude
•    Skilled in team motivation and team leadership 
•    Ability to cope with pressure and tight timelines
•    Willingness to travel and monitor survey interview process
•    Experience in fieldwork operations would be an advantage
•    Basic Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word and Powerpoint
•    Competent in English and one or more of the following languages – Chinese, Malay or Tamil to assist in translation for fieldwork interviewees
•    Candidate must possess at least a Degree or equivalent
