Job Description

Reporting to the Head of Faculty Development & Employee Experience (FDE), the candidate will be actively involved in the development, evaluation and driving of new initiatives/interventions to support long term business growth and sustainability, so as to prepare the School to meet the challenges associated with new ways of working. 


Job Responsibilities

1. Faculty Development

Support the Head of FDE and be involved in the development and implementation of strategies based on LKYSPP’s research priorities, to showcase research works through platforms such as exclusive networking opportunities events (Singapore and Overseas).

i.        Support the development, implementation and review of internal working guidelines and policies to leverage on and complement NUS policies for manpower and resources for the optimisation of teaching and research.

ii.       Support new initiatives/interventions and methodologies to support Faculty development (teaching, research & service), including succession planning and high potential identification, and ensuring development opportunities are in place to support individual and organisational goals.

iii.       Support in the development and facilitation of new initiatives to support the School’s new undergraduate programs, social mobility foundation; faculty exchange programme

iv.       Tracking and maintaining the database of information collated

 

2. Employee Experience Engagement

i.        Support the design, implementation and periodic review of initiatives to create an engaging experience for ongoing performance and productivity and which is effective for all employee groups.

ii.       Support the development, implementation and periodic review of engagement activities and initiatives ensuring best use of a current and new channels and forums to reach our current and potential workforce.

iii.       Support the design and implementation of initiatives to enable the effective, strategic sourcing of talented individuals at various entry levels.

 

3. Optimization of Organizational Structure

i.        Support in the development and implementation of strategic change/initiatives to increase productivity, which may involve job design, job rotation.

 


Qualifications

•         At least 2 years of relevant experience working with Universities, at a University’s industry partnerships office or within the higher education industry

•         Good knowledge and understanding of industry partnerships, processes, policies and sponsored research programs in a University context

•         Experience in implementing continuous process reviews and improvement

•         Good analytical and problem-solving abilities

•         Ability to work in a very fast-paced, ever-changing, team-oriented, stakeholder-driven environment

•         Good written and verbal communication

•         Possess excel and powerpoint skills
