Job Purpose

The NUS School of Computing (SOC) traces its roots back to the Nanyang University Department of Computer Science that was established in 1975. Since then, SOC has developed into one of the leading computing schools in the world, with faculty members who are both internationally recognised researchers and inspiring teachers. Today, SOC offers undergraduate and graduate degree programmes across the full spectrum of the field of computing, including Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Business Analytics and Information Security, as well as specialisations in emerging areas of importance such as artificial intelligence, fintech, blockchain, analytics and security.

 

We are looking for someone passionate about digital marketing and content creation to implement integrated marketing materials across digital and offline touchpoints. To coordinate/support student-employer engagement events and initiatives organised by NUS School of Computing Industry Relations team. 


Job Description

 

  • Curate and develop content and marketing collaterals from companies to increase Computing students’ awareness of the various industry sectors. 

  • Conceptualize and implement integrated marketing materials for publicity and community engagement efforts, for stakeholders, i.e. current and prospective students, faculty members and industry partners.

  • Manage the day-to-day, hands-on execution of content and campaigns across a range of digital channels (e.g. website, email, social media, etc).

  • Regularly review channel analytics and propose solutions for improvements and enhancements to drive traffic/engagement and/or conversion rates.

  • Foster partnership with companies in various industry sectors, in alignment with the needs and strengths of Computing students.

  • Manage employer related queries.

  • Increase student employment opportunities through continuous, targeted engagement with corporate partners. This includes the organization of recruitment presentations and networking sessions, as well as customized initiatives to meet the hiring needs of the organization.


Qualifications
  • Diploma or Degree holder in relevant disciplines like digital marketing or communications preferred. 

  • Fresh graduates may apply.

  • Good interpersonal skills and effective team player.

  • Good communication and presentation skills (written and oral). 

  • Possess positive attitude and able to multi-task.

  • Competency, experience or interest in graphic/web design, photography, and/or video production would be advantageous.
