Job Description
Executive / Senior Executive (Programme Administration) (2 Positions)
24 months at the first instance, with a possibility of renewal

To provide programme administration to the programmes under the Department of Communications and New Media.  

 


Responsibilities
  • The incumbent will provide administrative support to the Department of Communications and New Media, primarily on programme administration. This includes course registration management, class timetable scheduling, examination process handling and foster industry/alumni relations.
  • Tasks will further extend to supporting outreach efforts, including raising awareness of programmes and managing departmental events.
  • Additionally, the candidate should offer guidance and support to the curriculum committees.
  • The candidate shall assume a multifaceted role, encompassing administrative, secretarial, and logistical responsibilities. This includes providing comprehensive administrative support to the Programme Director. Furthermore, the incumbent will be actively engaged in various departmental activities such as processing claims and maintaining student teaching resources, etc.

Qualifications
  • A degree coupled with 2 to 3 years of relevant experience is preferred, although applicants without prior experience are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong communication and organizational abilities are essential.
  • Service-oriented, adept at multitasking, and capable of tackling challenges.
  • Proactivity and the ability to work independently.
  • Meticulousness and a positive work attitude.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, is required.
