Deputy Manager, Alumni Office (5 to 6 months Contract)

The staff will report to the Head, Alumni Office and assist in the day to day running of the Alumni Office.

The key responsibilities involve the following:

  • Plan and organise events for alumni engagement
  • Update the alumni database regularly
  • Maintain and upkeep the Alumni Lounge
  • Establish and build rapport with alumni
  • Reach out to alumni via social media platforms and alumni portal
  • Procurement and administration support functions for the Alumni Office
  • Collaborate with colleagues from pillars/clusters/offices


The qualifications for this position are:

  • Preferably a recognised university degree
  • Relevant work experience in an education institution environment dealing with student or/and alumni with at least 3 years in a supervisory capacity, preferred
  • Proficient in using desktop applications and social media platforms.
  • Experience in conceptualizing, planning, coordinating and executing projects that involve multiple parties/organisations
  • Self-motivated, organised and able to work well under pressure and with tight deadlines
  • Team player with good problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
  • Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written
  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills and ability to establish rapport with different levels of people
