Deputy Manager, Alumni Office (5 to 6 months Contract)
The staff will report to the Head, Alumni Office and assist in the day to day running of the Alumni Office.
The key responsibilities involve the following:
- Plan and organise events for alumni engagement
- Update the alumni database regularly
- Maintain and upkeep the Alumni Lounge
- Establish and build rapport with alumni
- Reach out to alumni via social media platforms and alumni portal
- Procurement and administration support functions for the Alumni Office
- Collaborate with colleagues from pillars/clusters/offices
The qualifications for this position are:
- Preferably a recognised university degree
- Relevant work experience in an education institution environment dealing with student or/and alumni with at least 3 years in a supervisory capacity, preferred
- Proficient in using desktop applications and social media platforms.
- Experience in conceptualizing, planning, coordinating and executing projects that involve multiple parties/organisations
- Self-motivated, organised and able to work well under pressure and with tight deadlines
- Team player with good problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written
- Possess excellent interpersonal skills and ability to establish rapport with different levels of people
