Responsibilities

  • Research experimentation and engineering support
  • Management and administration of a maritime shipboard operational technology (OT) testbed that will be built. The engineer will also be required to shadow other testbed engineers in order to facilitate continuous operation during each other’s absence
  • Testbed safety, maintenance and upgrade
  • iTrust infrastructure support (e.g. firewall, NAS and servers)
  • Offensive research and engineering (e.g. ICS attack benchmarking research, experimentation and engineering)
  • Industrial incident technical report writing
  • Students’ internship/mentorship supervision
  • Cyber exercises and technology validation support
  • Testbeds visit and tours

Applicants must have acquired:

  • Technical knowledge in programming and networking,
  • Exposure to cyber security training, Structured Text, Ladder Logic or Function Block will be an added advantage, and
  • At least 2 years of working experience.
  • Working experience in the maritime industry is advantageous but not mandatory
