Job Description

Game and graphics designers today regularly use physics engines that are built into many game engines to power the advances games and interactive systems they are building. But, for infinite-world systems, there is no parallel to the in-game physics systems of today that applies to the environment of the world that people explore. Our goal is to develop and building realistic in-game / in-environment systems that allow designers to easily provide natural-looking, realistic ecology simulations into the virtual world. In this way, we hope to improve the realism and experience of the user. But, to accomplish this, we will need to improve the algorithms used to enable both high-efficient, high-performance real-time ecology estimation during exploration in the environment. We aim to accomplish these goals in this project.
