Job Description
- Develops and maintains the Business Continuity Management (BCM) framework that is in line with industry standards and regulatory requirements
- Responsible for the planning and conducting of simulation exercises/drills with key stakeholders including senior management
- Conducts risk assessments for various faculties and business units and analyzing potential business impact of business interruptions
- Develops and provides staff training and education programs on BCM
- Track and monitor implementation of business continuity program across business units, reporting data as needed
- Proactively engage in the review and identification of new crisis scenarios, report and provide recommendations to senior management or relevant business units in the design of mitigation and response strategies
- Continuously engage with internal stakeholders and external support partners/regulators in ensuring adequacy of response plans and clear understanding of roles and responsibilities within the business continuity program
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with at least 5 years working experience and 3 years in the field of Business Continuity Management or Business Continuity Planning
- Relevant certification in BCM or BCP is an advantage
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Ability to think through hypothetical situations and concepts and to identify risks and weaknesses in various business processes
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate conversations and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
- Strong project management skills and ability to collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholder groups to manage cross functional programs
- Effective written and oral presentation skills especially in policy and process documentation
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (i.e. PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
