JOB DESCRIPTION

ROLE:            ASSOCIATE/ SENIOR ASSSOCIATE

(CAMPUS DEVELOPMENT)

You will be part of the Campus Development team responsible for campus planning, space management including project management (fitting out, A&A contract, office reconfiguring works, etc) for the development and management of the campuses.  You will work with internal stakeholders i.e., various users, authorities, consultants, and contractors to ensure the timely processing and delivery of the outcome under the Campus Development team 

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the space inventory and seating management of SUTD staff in the campus. Update and upkeep of the latest space inventory and seating assignment in the campus.

  • Processing of space request from various internal stakeholders.

  • Renewal of licenses related to building and authority’s requirement

  • Project management of projects such as office reconfiguring, minor A&A works, etc

  • Preparation of minutes where necessary for various committee where Office of Campus infrastructure and Facilities is the secretariat.

  • Prepare necessary documentations for calling tender, quotations, etc.

  • Prepare award recommendation paper for tenders or quotations internally for approval

Requirements

You should have at least 5 years of experience in facilities/space management, project management or project executive with consultants, contractors, or developers, in institutional or commercial projects and a recognised Degree related to the building/construction industry.

  • Strong verbal and ability to write clearly and precisely

  • A practical and logical mind and a structured / methodical way of thinking.

  • Able to plan and work in an organise manner

  • Good leadership skills and a team player.

  • Able to multi-task and with an eye for details.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Ability to use AutoCAD and other softwares such as Excel, PowerPoint, PDF, etc.

  • Ability to read and interpret drawings especially architectural, structural, and M&E drawings.
