Job Purpose

To implement an effective outreach and marketing strategy and plan to attract the Region's best students for the NUS Lee Kuan Yew School, in preparation of future leaders in Asia in leadership development, improved governance and transforming lives for a more sustainable world with notable outcome.  


Job Description

I. Student Recruitment and Partnership Management

  • In conjunction with Head of Outreach and Partnerships, develop and implement a comprehensive regional student recruitment marketing & outreach strategy.
  • Student Recruitment Events: Plan and facilitate online and offline engagements, such as information sessions, postgraduate masterclass, and other student recruitment events. 
  • Develop and proactively manage partnerships that will enable the school to build a steady and effective pipeline of eligible students.
  • Seen as "go-to-market" expert for the designated region, and to provide insights and field reports to LKY School Senior Management, Faculty and other departments about the education market as well as broader market insights that are relevant to the School.
  • Cultivate and manage strategic relationships for the region - including donors, academic community, corporates, alumni, prospective students and media.
  • Support enquiry management, lead conversion and application-related team responsibilities. 
  • Plan and facilitate online and offline engagements such as information sessions, postgraduate masterclass and other student recruitment events.
  • Work closely with professional staff, academics, Student Ambassadors and external stakeholders to achieve the strategic goals of the School.
  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of a streamlined Integrated Admissions Framework.

II. Digital Marketing

  • In conjunction with Thought Leadership and Strategic Communication and Head of Outreach and Partnerships, develop an annual overarching digital marketing plan and manage digital marketing campaigns across regions. 
  • Manage digital marketing campaigns across regions, employing a range of methods, including paid search, SEO, and pay-per-click campaigns. Monitor campaigns to ensure they are meeting their objectives and make adjustments as necessary.
  • Create and maintain campaign analytics to gather key insights and support the success of campaign strategies.
  • Prepare and present reports of marketing activities and campaign outcomes.
  • Review new platforms and technologies relevant to boost engagement strategies, and present these developments to Head of Outreach and Partnerships.
  • Use the CRM to maximise online engagements.
  • Carry out segmentation of the database and implement remarketing strategies.

Qualifications
  • Education: A bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, international affairs or a related field. 
  • Experience: At least 3-5 years of experience in digital marketing, government relations, public affairs or a related field is preferred. Experience working with government agencies or officials is a plus.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Government Relations Skills: Knowledge and experience in working with government agencies and officials, understanding of regulatory issues and policy making, and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
  • Adaptability: Must be adaptable to change and able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with tight deadlines.
  • Technical Skills: A strong understanding of digital marketing channels, such as SEO, PPC, social media marketing, email marketing, and content marketing is a plus.
  • CRM Experience: Experience with CRM systems, such as Salesforce, is preferred.
  • Travel: Regional (and occasionally international) travel is expected. The candidate must be willing and able to travel for this role.
