Job Description

We are looking for a suitably qualified candidate to join the team under the Vice-Provost (Masters’ Programmes and Lifelong Education). 

The incumbent shall be responsible primarily for managing two projects:
1)    A scholarship programme for ASEAN students – the programme manager will be responsible for overseeing the scholarship programme to achieve strategic goals and objectives. This role requires coordination and management skills.  
2)    Surveys sent to recent graduates and alumni of NUS postgraduate by coursework degree programmes – the survey administrator plays a crucial role in collecting data and feedback from participants for research, analysis, and decision-making purposes.

The candidate will also assist the team with other ad hoc projects and administration such as taking and disseminating notes for management and meetings. 

The ideal candidate is one who possesses strong administrative skills and relishes exposure to strategic management discussions/decision-making. To be successful in the role, the incumbent must be a confident, meticulous, and competent self-starter requiring minimal supervision, with excellent writing and interpersonal communication skills.


Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Oversight and coordination of our scholarship programme for ASEAN students (DiscoverNUS and NUS ASEAN Master’s Scholarship Programme)
•    Liaise, engage with and manage communications with relevant constituencies, including (but not limited to): partner universities, students at partner universities, NUS faculties and schools, and other units within the university
•    Maintain content of programme website(s) and the programme email(s)
•    Assist and coordinate programme marketing and marketing activities, including Q&A sessions. 
•    Maintain oversight of the programme budget for the Scholarship Programme

Oversight and administration of two postgraduate surveys 
•    Coordinate with units within the university to prepare the two surveys (Graduate Satisfaction Survey and Graduate Employment Survey)
•    Administer the surveys via Qualtrics, including queries from respondents and tracking the response rate
•    Clean and analyse data to generate findings and insights
•    Prepare the report on survey results, and present findings to internal stakeholders (University management, NUS faculties and schools)  
•    Purchase and distribute survey tokens to respondents


Qualifications

Academic & Professional Certification
•    A good bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a reputable university
•    Bachelor’s degree in a discipline related to communications or data analysis is preferred 
•    Strong English language proficiency is essential
•    IT savvy and proficient in MS Office applications
•    Familiarity with Qualtrics and/or other data analytical software is a bonus

Experience & Attributes:
•    At least 5 years’ relevant work experience in marketing or communications
•    Excellent writing and interpersonal communication skills
•    Excellent analytical skills and a knack for data analysis
•    Creativity with event planning and designing marketing/information materials will be a bonus
•    Resilient, resourceful, and works well under pressure

Salary expectations, if quoted, should be on a 12-month guaranteed basis; do not include variable components like performance bonuses, incentives & allowances.
