Assistant Manager / Manager, Outreach & Grant Management

HealthTEC provides a national platform for industry and academic partners to facilitate deep technology translational research for health and wellness solutions. This Consortium seeks to synergise interactions between academia, industry and government agencies to encourage use-inspired research, technology translation, manpower training and technology awareness.  

The Consortium is led by the National University of Singapore (NUS) and shall provide members with opportunities for dialogue, partnerships, knowledge updates, skills training, and research collaborations via seed grants. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct outreach to engage industrial partners for membership
• Formulate grant proposals for technology alignment
• Prepare marketing and publicity materials for Consortium partners
• Coordinate and organise workshops, seminars, and symposia
• Present research technologies to potential Consortium partners
• Grant management and finance administration

The successful candidate would be expected to be part of the team within a collaborative interdisciplinary environment.
The appointment would start as soon as possible.

• At least a Bachelor's degree in health and life sciences, engineering or their equivalent from a reputable university
• At least over 3 years of working experience in health technology development, commercialisation or project management
• Grant management and technology project proposal writing experience highly desirable
• Have good outreach skills in engaging members from the academia, industry and governmental agencies
• Well organised, able to work independently to organise and execute events
• Possess strong people skills and able to work with people of different levels
• Excellent time management, communication and presentation skills
