Job Description

In line with the School’s mission to nurture future-ready doctors, this role will play a key role to the design, development and plan implementation of new curriculum components while ensuring that these are aligned to the education mission and strategic priorities of NUS Medicine. These efforts will strengthen and broaden our curriculum, in topics such as medical sciences, communication skills, ethics and professionalism and patient safety. Use of technology and other pedagogical innovations will be strategic to the effective delivery of these education initiatives. As part of the Curriculum Planning and Development team, this role provides administrative and operational support to drive continuous enhancement to the curriculum.

 

  • Support curriculum development efforts to strengthen the curriculum, promoting clinically relevant foundational science curriculum; and to broaden the curriculum, to include topics such as communication skills, and ethics and professionalism.
  • Provide support in planning and development of the Entrustable Professional Activity (EPA) based MBBS curriculum.
  • Provide on-site operational support for NUS Medicine clinical exams and other activities critical to our education mission.

  • Qualifications
    • Bachelor degree (major in Life Sciences preferred, but not compulsory)
    • 3 to 4 years of relevant working experience
    • A strong team player who can work independently with minimal supervision
    • Receptive to feedback and eager to learn
    • Meticulous and detail-oriented with good project management and communication (both written and verbal) skills
    • A positive, can-do attitude, intellectual curiosity and a strong service mindset
    • Good interpersonal skills to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels
    • Able to multi-task and work under pressure
