The Assistant Manager, will be part of the Engineering Cluster under the Academic Programmes Administration Division. This role will be stationed at SIT@SP. He/She will provide administrative support to the Programme Leaders in the areas listed below.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and manage the operations of new / existing degree programmes
- Administer and coordinate timetabling / scheduling of classes, as well as assist in booking of facilities
- Assist in exam matters such as organising Board of Examiner meeting, preparing presentation slides, collating and checking exam scripts
- Organise and manage events such as workshops, meetings and dialogue sessions
- Administer procurement process for various programmes
- Manage and monitor programme budgets, expenditure and assets
- Work closely with counterparts in Overseas Universities and Polytechnics
- Provide administrative and secretarial support for programme-specific meetings
- Manage student matters such as processing student claims and withdrawal
- Involved in preparation for programme accreditation
- Assist in recruitment processes and publicity support, inclusive of content and materials collation, participation in Open House
- Other programme support assignments as required by the Director of Programme, Programme Leader, or Director, Academic Programmes Administration
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree from a good university
- Proven track record with minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar position, preferably in an educational environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word)
- Good communication and interpersonal skills; good written and oral skills
- Ability to be versatile in working independently and as an excellent team player towards set goals
