The Office of Commercial and Auxiliary Services (OCAS) oversees the development, management, and marketing of estate & commercial spaces (such as leasing of spaces for F&B, amenities & lifestyle services, short-term accommodation, and meetings/events), and  auxiliary services (such as car parks, shuttle bus services, campus security, business continuity planning and emergency management) in NTU. Dedicated to supporting NTU's vision of a vibrant campus life, OCAS seeks to enhance the accessibility of the campus and improve the quality of campus life for study, work, play and living.

We are looking for a candidate with prior experience in business continuity, as well as emergency preparedness and response planning.

Responsibilities:

The candidate will enhance organizational resilience through robust plans to respond to, manage and recover from any sudden disruption of business, specifically:

  • Implement  a business continuity management framework for the University  so that  critical business functions can be maintained or recovered in a timely manner in the event of a disruption, including an escalation process and activation plan for Crisis Management Team (CMT).

  • Partner NTU schools, departments and centres to identify and develop plans to manage the operational emergencies which occur during daily operations frequently and which demand immediate and decisive action to ensure the safety of students, employees and visitors, and to prevent such emergencies or disruptions from escalating to be a crisis or catastrophic events.

  • Lead the execution of the Crisis Management Plan on activation of the Crisis Management Team (CMT).

  • Complement the University’s risk management efforts by identifying and planning for high impact scenarios where BCM is the appropriate risk mitigation strategy.

  • Establish an agreed recovery program that will minimize the impact of the event.

    Requirements:

    • A recognised Degree

    • A recognised Crisis Management or Business continuity certificate

    • At least 5 years of relevant experience in business continuity planning and emergency preparedness

    • Able to converse and write proficiently

    • Able to work independently with minimum supervision and in a team

    • Able to multitask under given timelines
