Job Description

Job Purpose:
Candidate will lead the teams in the Centre for Healthcare Simulation (CHS) and the CET arm within the Education Division of the NUS Yong Loo Lin School of medicine. The candidate is to provide direction and oversight in the daily operations of the medical simulation center to ensure its operational readiness to support the School Undergraduate, Postgraduate medical simulation trainings and the Continuing Education and Training (CET) courses. The candidate is also responsible to spearhead the school’s effort in organizing, promoting, and conducting quality healthcare CET courses.

 

Duties & Responsibilities:
1.    Provide directions and oversight for the Centre for Healthcare Simulation (CHS) to ensure and improve the quality and delivery of our Undergraduate (UG), Postgraduate (PG) and Continuing Education and Training (CET) simulation trainings.
•    Ensure CHS is operational ready to support all UG/PG medical and nursing simulation teachings.
•    Work with faculty members to identify, develop and implement healthcare PG and CET courses  
•    Develop strategic partnerships and new relations with universities and technologies partners in the CET and PG simulation training arena.
•    Maintain a good revenue flow from various revenue generating courses that CET conducted.
•    Oversee, manage, and provide guidance to teams within CHS.

 

2.    Provide directions and oversight for the Continuing Education and Training (CET) team to improve its offerings and delivery of our healthcare simulation Continuing Education and Training (CET) trainings.
•    Develop local and international healthcare CET programs.
•    Coordinate with faculty members to identify and develop healthcare CET programs.
•    Coordinate with NUS SCALE and Departments for SSG accreditations and audits matters.
•    Work with CET program owners to promote and deliver CET courses.
•    Analyse training outcomes and implement improvement plans
•    Oversee, manage, and provide guidance to the Edu CET Team.


Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree holder, and with at least 10 year of work experience.
  • Working experience in the health education and Continuing Education related industries would be advantageous.
  • Highly self-motivated individual who is mature, independent, and adaptive
  • Meticulous and detail-oriented
  • Able to work under pressure, in a fast-paced environment with multiple timelines and stakeholders
  • Excellent project and time management skills
  • Tact and discretion in handling sensitive information
  • Strong interpersonal & communication skills (in both verbal and writing)
  • IT savvy and proficient in MS Office applications
