Senior Assistant Director/Assistant Director, Business Transformation

You will be part of the Digital Transformation team within the CFO Office, to lead solutions that improve processes and deploy platform new functions.  You will partner closely with the Office of Finance, NTU Finance Shared Services and other NTU functions in the digitalization and process redesign journey.

Responsibilities

• One of 2 Finance-Procurement Centre of Excellence (COE), that oversees Finance & Enterprise-Spend systems & processes, task to execute automation, digitalization & process redesign programs.  This role manages a team that bridges between NTU Finance community & uses and NTU Centre of Information Systems (CITS) team / Finance ERP solutions

• Strategic thinking to develop plans & recommendations, design & deploy innovative financial solutions that improve organization performance & efficiency, address process issues & compliance requirements, and elevate customer satisfaction

• Responsible for creating roadmaps that enables systems & work processes to support evolving business strategy and ERP upgrades / releases

• Drive continuous improvements & actively identify gaps, design solutions and/or functional requirements necessary to streamline business processes

• Lead and drive successful implementation of roadmap projects & solutions

• Engage users to build effective recommendations that operationalize solutions and build business case

• Design and lead change communication to align plans, actions and deliverables through the impacted departments and teams

• Deliver within budget & agreed milestones

• Institutionalize functional knowledge and design of Finance systems

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business and/or IT

• Minimum 10 years’ experience with 5 – 7 years’ in business transformation or project management

• Experienced in financial ERP systems

• Experienced business analyst with proven process re-engineering skill, preferably in Accounting & Finance

• Able to connect dots and work with ambiguity

• Strong in Change Management with good stakeholder management

• Highly collaborative individual who is able to work across all levels and equipped with strong influencing skills
