AI Courseware Engineer for AI Singapore

AI Singapore (AISG) is a national AI programme launched by the National Research Foundation (NRF) to anchor deep national capabilities in Artificial Intelligence (AI). 

The programme office is hosted by the National University of Singapore (NUS) and brings together all Singapore-based research institutions and the vibrant ecosystem of AI start-ups and companies developing AI products to perform use-inspired research, grow the knowledge, create the tools, and develop the talent to power Singapore’s AI efforts.

We are looking for an AI Courseware Engineer to design and develop LearnAI modules and learning materials. The goal is to facilitate learners in acquiring knowledge, skills and competencies in an effective and appealing manner.

The incumbent develops AI learning resources based on curriculum objectives and the assessment of learning needs. The incumbent also enhances the learner-user experience journey by integrating relevant learning technology and delivering through appropriate learning delivery modes. 

Additional duties include designing assessment processes, managing accreditation and certification processes and identifying opportunities to enhance curriculum effectiveness. 

Duties and Responsibilities:
1.    Design and implement AI courseware and learning resources
2.    Define and create engaging user learning journeys through the use of learning technology
3.    Evaluate appropriate learning delivery modes to facilitate the achievement of a positive learning experience 
4.    Synthesise analysis of curriculum take-up rates and learner assessment trends, 
5.    Evaluate, recommend and prioritise courseware improvement areas based on analysis of learning objectives and performance standards
6.    Oversee implementation of courseware review processes to provide inputs for AI Certification team

• Minimum Degree in computer science, machine learning, statistics, AI, computer science and other relevant equivalent quantitative fields
• Chartered AI Engineer Level 1 qualification would be preferable
• Familiar with WordPress and LearnDash, or equivalent Wordpress LMS plugin
• At least 2 years of experience in curriculum design and development
• Ability to write effective copy and instructional text
