The Division of Physics and Applied Physics (PAP) at NTU invites applications for positions at the rank of Adjunct Professor in Physics. We are looking for candidates holding a Ph.D. degree in physics or a closely related area.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership in Research and Innovation:
Spearhead cutting-edge research initiatives that align with division needs. Initiate collaborative research efforts with both academic and industry partners to address complex challenges and advance the frontiers of knowledge.
Advise on teaching and developing undergraduate and postgraduate courses, incorporating the latest research and industry practices.
Utilize extensive industry experience to facilitate partnerships and collaborations that benefit both students and faculty.
Engage with industry leaders to bring real-world insights into the classroom and research, enhancing the practical application of theoretical knowledge.
Act as a mentor to students, providing guidance and inspiration to explore diverse career paths and achieve their full potential.
Encourage students to engage in research and innovation, fostering a culture of curiosity and lifelong learning.
Qualifications:
A distinguished record in academia and industry, as evidenced by leadership roles, scholarly achievements, and a significant publication record.
Proven ability to deliver high-quality teaching and mentorship, inspiring students, and faculty members to achieve excellence.
Exceptional ability to collaborate with academic and industry partners, fostering joint initiatives and bridging the gap between theory and practice.
