The Laboratory of Intensification of Materials and Processes (IMAP) headed by Prof. Carlos A. Grande is affiliated to the Advanced Membranes and Porous Materials (AMPM) Center and to the KAUST Catalysis Center (KCC). We work covers the landscape from scale-up and shaping of materials to the design and intensification of new processes and reactors.
We are looking for a motivated individual with a strong background in computational fluid dynamics in chemical engineering. We have several projects that are associated to process modelling (in separation and catalysis) covering the fundamental aspects of process design, 3D printing and the process deployment for industrial implementation.
