Business Administrator
The Business Administrator will work with faculty, Sr. Business Manager, and other staff to ensure administrative operations are effectively addressed.
·          Responsible for support services relating to recruitment and hiring of research staff in Divisions and affiliated centers, including arranging for visit visas and travel, organizing campus visits and maintaining an applicant database;
·          Supports on boarding of new staff in the Division and affiliated Centers;
·          Handles and collates confidential information on divisional staff, and supports in performance evaluation processes;
·          Coordination with Facilities and Community, Human Resources, Government Affairs, Procurement Services, University Relations;
·          Provides logistical support (visa, tickets, accommodation, security access, transportation, etc) for business visitors and research groups;
·          Prepares travel orders and submits reimbursement requests for interviewees;
·          Coordinates preparation and maintaining of staff profiles;
·          Maintains data for Divisional time management reports;
·          Maintains Divisional email distribution lists;
·          Develops and prepares PowerPoint presentations;
·          Point of contact for Center Directors and Divisional faculty for information relating to HR, KAUST portal, expense reimbursements, TAPS procurement system, etc
·          Undertake other duties, temporarily or on a continuing basis, as may be required.
Division of Physical Sciences & Engineering
Catalysis Research Center
·          Computer literacy and ability to train others
·          Proficiency in database, spreadsheet and MS Office applications and an ability to learn and work with various KAUST software systems
·          Ability to establish and maintain good working relationship with faculty and staff. 
·          Effective verbal and written communication skills
·          Able to work with minimal guidance, handle multiple tasks and prioritize work assignments in a busy office environment 
·          Able to research information, organize, coordinate and solve problems;
·          Cross cultural sensitivity and awareness.
Bachelor Degree in business administration 
6  years of experience in general business administration
Experience in a University environment preferred.
Minimum 3 years of experience in general business administration
Experience in a University environment preferred.
