Work-Based Learning PDR Mentor

We are seeking to appoint an experienced PDR Mentor; the successful candidate will deliver PDR sessions to all apprenticeship groups. Providing administrative support and produces reports as necessary.

Some of the key responsibilities include:

  •  Monitoring of attendance and punctuality daily
  •  Supporting with audits as and when required
  •  Ensure completion of employer reports by Assessors and send to employers on a quarterly basis.
  •  Audit check the sign-up paperwork once complete and resolve any issues
  •  Facilitate the Apprenticeship review board
  •  Audit checking the completion paperwork and resolve queries
  •  Oversight of effective IQA, including monitoring of timely IQA completion
  •  Foster effective communication and share good practice in supporting other curriculum areas to achieve targets.
  •  Support the monitoring of the use of WBL systems to ensure action is taken when necessary to ensure that targets are met.
  •  Support the coordination of the WBL learner Personal Development and Review delivery, including oversight of management of learner progression

Applications will be shortlisted on the following criteria:

  •  Strong skills in the use of a range of e-Portfolio and MIS systems
  •  Experience successfully implementing new systems in a curriculum area (this need not be work-based learning)
  •  Experience in compliance to support with audits and inspections
  •  Experience training staff in the use of systems such as an e-Portfolio or other learner management packages
  •  Sound knowledge of the rules and policies relating to work-based learning in England
  •  Qualifications at level appropriate to curriculum area
  •  CPD records
