The School of Physics and Astronomy advertises a Research Fellow position in experimental photonics dedicated to the development of flexible holographic metasurfaces for anticounterfeiting applications for secure documents. The applicant should have research experience in the design and/or fabrication and experimental characterization of holographic devices, preferably in the visible range, supported by a good publication record. Knowledge of metasurface design and fabrication is desirable. The position is supported by an external research partner and is for two years.
Due to the nature of the role, appointment will be conditional on successful National Security Vetting (NSV) security clearance.
Informal enquiries can be directed to Prof Andrea Di Falco, email [email protected] or Tel: 01334 463165.
