Start Date: 1 September 2022, or as soon as possible thereafter.
Fixed Term: 1 September 2022 to 15 January 2023
We are seeking to appoint a full-time Lecturer in Modern and Contemporary Art (1900-present) with expertise in Africa and its diaspora, South Asia, East Asia, or the Middle East. This is a fixed-term post replacing a permanent member of staff on research leave.

Working with postgraduates, particularly teaching M.Litt. classes, will be a key part of your role. You will also be required to coordinate undergraduate and / or postgraduate team-taught modules, and to contribute lectures and tutorials on our second-year survey module.
Like other members of the School, you will be expected to take on administrative tasks as required by the Head of School.
Informal enquiries can be directed to Dr Jeremy Howard: firstname.lastname@example.org .
Applications are particularly welcome from women, people from the Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) community, and other protected characteristics who are under-represented in Arts posts at the University.
