ERC Post doctoral Offer H/F

Updated: over 1 year ago
Job Type: FullTime
Deadline: 22 Sep 2022

Development of original methodologies in order to tackle key synthetic challenges:
experimental work
analysis (NMR, HPLC…)
writing of scientific reports and publications

This project is part of our research program dedicated to the development of new methodologies by means of transition metal catalysis for the remote functionalization of molecules. A strong emphasis will be paid on the direct functionalization of unactivated C-H bonds and to build up fluorinated scaffolds. The postdoctoral fellow will be in charge of the experimental work, analysis (NMR, HPLC…), the writing of scientific reports and will take benefit from an international research environment.

--The post-doctoral fellow will work in the “Synthesis of Fluorinated Biomolecules” group (UMR 6014 COBRA-CNRS), headed by Professor Jubault. The group, which includes 6 permanent staffs and ca. 10-12 Ph.D. students and postdoctoral fellows, is located at IRCOF Rouen (CNRS, University and INSA Rouen), France.
The post doctoral fellow will work under the supervision of Dr. Tatiana Besset (CNRS Research Associate, Contact: [email protected] ). Her research focuses on the design of new transition metal-catalyzed C–H bond functionalization reactions and the development of new strategies for the synthesis of fluorinated building blocks.
