The School of Modern Languages invites applications for the position of Associate Lecturer (Education Focused) in Chinese Language. This is a fixed-term position for one semester to cover a period of staff research leave.  

The role holder will be expected to deliver Chinese language modules to undergraduate students.  

Applicants will normally have or be near to completing a PhD in Chinese Studies or a cognate subject. Applicants should have experience in the delivery of classes in Chinese language and full professional competency in modern standard Chinese (Putonghua/Guoyu) and English.
