Offer Description

The University of Medicine and Pharmacy "Grigore T. Popa" Iași, as the PARTNER 3, organizes a competition for the occupation, for the specified period of time, outside the organization chart, of the position - Research Expert in pain therapy, necessary for the implementation of the project „Creation, Operational and Development of the National Center of Competence in the field of Cancer (NCCC)", project financed by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan; Call no. PNRR-III-C9-2022 – I5.

Atributions

Participate in the enrollment of cancer patients in the study and in the creation of the virtual library with fMRI images of cancer patients evaluated within Activity II.1.1 CD4-UMFGT Comprehensive clinical and neuroimaging evaluation of patients with neoplastic pain, before and after analgesic treatment;

Participate in the creation and publication of an article in an ISI journal, within Activity III.1.3 CD4-UMFGT Evaluation, comparison and integration of data from clinical, laboratory, fMRI and neuroimaging markers in cancer patients with/without pain.

Participate in the realization of the best practices guide in the palliative care of cancer patients within the activity

Activity III.4 CD4 UMFGT Development of a best practices guide in palliative care for cancer patients;

Participate in the Conference on good practices in palliative care for cancer patients, within the activity III.5.1 CD4 UMFGT

Presentation of project results at national and international scientific meetings;

Participate in the creation of Papers presented at national and international conferences as part of Activity III.5.2

CD4 UMFGT Papers submitted to scientific journals presenting the results of the project;

Participate in the dissemination of the best practices guide in the framework of Activity III.5.3 CD4 UMFGT Dissemination of the developed guidelines among health professionals.

Specific Requirements

Minimum 3 years of experience as a resident physician in the oncology field;

At least 5 publications in ISI Clarivate indexed/quoted medical specialty journals;

Involvement in a research project in the oncology field/on cancer patients.

Eligibility criteria

The general conditions that must be met by a person to be able to participate in the competition are:

a) have Romanian citizenship, citizenship of other member states of the European Union or of states belonging to the European Economic Area;

b) to know the Romanian language and/or another language of international circulation recognized at the level of the European Union - written and spoken;

c) to have the minimum age required by the legal provisions;

d) to have full exercise capacity;

e) have a state of health corresponding to the position for which they are applying, attested on the basis of the medical certificate issued by the family doctor or the authorized health units;

f) to meet the conditions of studies and, as the case may be, seniority or other specific conditions according to the requirements of the position for which he is to be selected;

g) not have been definitively convicted for committing a crime against humanity, against the state or against the authority, in the service or in connection with the service, which prevents the administration of justice, forgery or acts of corruption or a crime committed with intent, which would make it incompatible with the exercise of the function, except for the situation in which rehabilitation intervened.

Selection process

The selection procedure will consist of two stages:

1) Conformity evaluation - the conformity of the file submitted by the candidates is evaluated; in order to be admitted to the next stage, the application file must contain all the requested documents and fulfill all the mandatory conditions of the evaluation and selection announcement; the verification of the registered files from the point of view of the existence of all requested documents as well as their compliance will be carried out by the secretary of the Evaluation and Selection Commission. Only candidates whose files are complete and compliant will be admitted to the next stage.

2) Evaluation of candidates:

- CV evaluation - it is evaluated whether the candidate meets the minimum educational requirements and specific experience. The criteria taken into account in the evaluation of CVs will be the following:

- correlation of the studies requested by the job description with those acquired by the candidate;

- justification of the specific experience and correlation with the duties mentioned in the job description;

- demonstration of specific experience in projects with non-refundable funds;

- demonstration of experience specific to the field of the project.
