privind ocuparea unui post de
Asistent de Cercetare, în cadrul proiectului
„Modele cinetice pentru plasma quarc-gluon”,
cod PN-III-P1-1.1-TE-2021-1707,
derulat în cadrul programului național PN III
la Facultatea Fizică, Universitatea de Vest din Timișoara
I. Descrierea proiectului
Scopul proiectului intitulat Modele cinetice pentru plasma quarc-gluon (PN-III-P1-1.1-TE-2021-1707) este de a extinde înțelegerea asupra fenomenologiei plasmei quarc-gluon (PQG) formată în urma coliziunii ionilor grei ultrarelativiști, adresând următoarele întrebări:
* O1: Validitatea soluțiilor de tip atractor în curgerile nesimetrice
* O2: Impactul difuziei sarcinilor la potențial chimic finit asupra observabilelor caracterizând curgerea
* O3: Polarizarea în fluidele cu vorticitate
II. Responsabilități și atribuții:
* Postul este subordonat directorului de proiect, Lect. Univ. Dr. Victor E. Ambruș.
* Candidatul care va fi desemnat câștigător va avea atribuții în cadrul activităților:
* AII.2 (Dynamical phase transition) în cadrul O2
* AIII.1 (Hydrodynamical model for polarised fluids) în cadrul O3
* AIII.2 (Polarisation in 2+1-D Bjorken flow) în cadrul O3
III. Condiții minime de participare la concurs:
* Diplomă de licență în domeniul fizică;
* Înscris la un program de master în domeniul fizică; sau Diplomă de master în fizică.
IV. Durata și condițiile muncii:
* Postul are durata determinată, pe perioada1 decembrie 2022 - 31 mai 2024.
* Timpul de lucru este flexibil (normă parțială), în condiții normale de lucru.
* Perioada de probă este de 30 de zile.
V. Data, locul şi ora concursului:
Concursul va avea loc în data de 16.09.2022, ora 10:00, în regim online.
VI. Înscrierea la concurs:
Dosarele de concurs se vor trimite în format electronic la adresa [email protected] până pe data de 11 septembrie 2022, ora 16:00, şi vor conţine următoarele documente:
* Curriculum Vitae
* Lista lucrărilor știintifice publicate (dacă este cazul).
VII. Probele de concurs:
* Selecţia dosarelor de înscriere
* Proba scrisă - 2 ore
* Proba practică - 2 ore
* Interviu motivațional - 20 min
Fiecare probă este eliminatorie.
VIII. Tematica:
Proba scrisă:
* Modelul Bjorken. Atractori în hidrodinamica de ordinul 2. [1:Cap.3.2][2]
* Termenul de coliziune Anderson-Witting. Coeficienți de transport. [1:Cap.7][3]
* Teorema Noether pentru câmpul Klein-Gordon liber: operatorul energie-impuls. [4]
* Ecuația Dirac și cuantificarea a doua. [4]
Proba practică:
* Reprezentarea grafică a datelor folosind gnuplot.
* Utilizarea softurilor pentru calcul simbolic și numeric (Maple, Mathematica, etc).

taking place within the Romanian Național Programme PN III
at the Department of Physics, West University of Timișoara
I. Project description
The project titled Kinetic models for the quark-gluon plasma (PN-III-P1-1.1-TE-2021-1707) aims to extend our understanding of the phenomenology of the quark-gluon plasma (QGP) formed in relativistic heavy ion collisions by addressing the following questions:
* O1: Validity of attractor solutions in non-symmetric flows
* O2: Impact of charge diffusion at finite chemical potential on flow observables
* O3: Polarisation in vortical fluids
II. Responsabilities and tasks:
* The position is subordinate to the project director, Lect. Univ. Dr. Victor E. Ambruș.
* The successful candidate will undertake tasks within the following activities:
* AII.2 (Dynamical phase transition) within O2
* AIII.1 (Hydrodynamical model for polarised fluids) within O3
* AIII.2 (Polarisation in 2+1-D Bjorken flow) within O3
III. Minimum eligibility requirements:
* BSc diploma in Physics
* Enrollment in an MSc programme in physics or MSc diploma in Physics
IV. Contract duration and working conditions:
* The appointment is for the fixed term 1st December 2022 - 31st May 2024.
* The work time is flexible (part-time), in normal working conditions.
* The trial period is 30 days.
V. Date, place and time of selection contest:
The contest will take place online on 16.09.2022 at 10:00 AM.

VII. Competition trials:
* Selection of applications
* Written trial - 2 hours
* Practical trial - 2 hours
* Motivational inverview - 20 min
Each trial is eliminatory.

* Bjorken model. Attractors în second-order hydrodynamics. [1:Ch.3.2][2]
* Anderson-Witting collision term. Transport coefficients. [1:Ch.7][3]
* Noether theorem for the free Klein-Gordon field: Energy-momentum operator. [4]
* Dirac equation and second quantization. [4]
Practical trial:
* Graphical representation of data using gnuplot.
* Ability to use software for symbolic and numerical computations (Maple, Mathematica, etc).
