Eligibility criteria

The best match to the diverse interdisciplinary tasks of the project. A special emphasis is put on the stability of the working program and availability for possible emergency calls.

Skills/Qualifications

Collecting and adapting structural and spectroscopy data for lanthanide compounds (coordination systems, mixed oxides, halides, phosphates and other lattices). Basic knowledge in quantum chemical calculations, molecular and solid-state methods. Knowledge of specific structural aspects of lanthanide chemistry and spectroscopy, including parametric ligand-field type models for d and f shells.

Specific Requirements

Performing statistical analyses and parametric fitting. Critical evaluation of phenomenological and computation model results. Comparison to experimental spectroscopy data.
