research assistant in the humanities

“Lucian Blaga” University of Sibiu announces the organization of the competition regarding the filling of a temporary vacant position of research assistant in socio-human sciences - position no. 17, with a part-time maximum of 42 hours / month, within the research project “The role of religion and religious actors in the social inclusion of Roma - towards a participatory approach”, funded under the UEFISCDI contract no. 38/2021, project that takes place between 04.01.2021 - 30.04.2024.

I) The position of research assistant in socio-human sciences is directly subordinated to the project manager and has the following main responsibilities:

• makes an inventory of existing projects in the Hârtibaciului Valley region, Sibiu county of Roma inclusion,

• actively participates in workshops on Participation (in methods, analysis, dissemination);

• prepares publications (at least one) on a project-related topic and sends them to a journal at the highest possible scientific level;

• supports the mapping process in the 2 case study locations provided in the project

• organizes with the other members of the project team workshops and trainings on the topic of the project with interested people (relevant actors and volunteers)

• supports the development and implementation of pilot projects with members of the empirical team.

General conditions for filling the position required of candidates:

 have Romanian citizenship, citizenship of other member states of the European Union, of the states belonging to the European Economic Area and domicile in Romania, or hold a residence visa and domicile in Romania;

 know Romanian, written and spoken;

 have the minimum age regulated by the legal provisions;

 have full exercise capacity;

 have a state of health corresponding to the position, attested on the basis of the medical certificate issued by the family doctor or by the authorized health units;

 meet the study conditions and other specific conditions established according to the job requirements;

 have not been definitively convicted of an offense against humanity, of the State or of the Authority, whether in office or in connection with the service, - incompatible with the exercise of the function, except in the situation in which the rehabilitation occurred
