National Institute for Research and Development of Isotopic and Molecular Technologies (INCDTIM), Cluj-Napoca, Romania, is organizing a selection competition for the position of Research Assistant in the specialization Automation and Computer Science, 8h/day, fixed period starting with 15.05.2024 until 31.12.2024, within the research project: Intelligent monitoring system for radio emissions, project code 05 PSCD/2022.
Job description: The candidate will participate in research and development activities by carrying out measurements, analyses, software application implementations, execution operations, research equipment exploitation operations. Job requirements: Knowledge in the analysis and design of communications systems, Knowledge of algorithms, data structures and Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence techniques, Image Processing, C/Python/MatLab programming skills, English language skills, Teamwork skills, Responsibility and orientation towards quality. Experience: Higher education / graduate (bachelor degree) in the field of Automation and Computer Science, participation in research projects, publication of articles in conferences (minimum 2 articles) and winer of national award (minimum 1 national award). Content of the application file: • Competition registration application (download from the institute's website www.itim-cj.ro/cariere); • Curriculum vitae in Romanian and English (EuroPass model); • Letter of intent, with a clear specification of the motivation for enrolling in a research program; • Copies of educational studies (baccalaureate diploma, diploma of bachelor degree-including transcripts,); • Copies of birth certificate, identity card, civil status documents. • Copies of the work certificates/revisal extract/letters of work history. The selection will consist of: file analysis (eliminatory step) and interview.
