National Institute for Research and Development of Isotopic and Molecular Technologies (INCDTIM),               Cluj-Napoca, Romania,  is organizing a selection competition for two positions of  Scientific Researcher   in the specialization Organic Chemistry, full - time (8 hour/day), fixed period, until  30.06.2026, within the research project: Synthesis of  Dendrimers Containing Sulfonium Ions in the Backbone for Antibacterial applications  having the project code PNRR of 31.07.2023.

 

Job description: The selected candidate will be involved in research activity including the synthesis of dendrimers with sulfonium ions.

Job requirements:

- graduate of higher education, with a doctorate degree in Chemistry, having experience in organic synthesis, including; - experience in performing organic reactions including Schlenk techniques for moisture and oxygen sensitive compounds; - purification of organic compounds by chromatographic techniques; - characterization of organic compounds through different techniques: 1H- and 13C- NMR spectroscopies, mass spectrometry, etc.; Content of the application file:   • Competition registration application (download from the institute's website www.itim-cj.ro/cariere ); • Curriculum vitae in Romanian and English (EuroPass model); • Letter of intent, with a clear specification of the motivation for enrolling in a research program; • List of published works; • Copy of educational documents: baccalaureate diploma, bachelor's degree and master's degree; • Copy of birth certificate, identity card, civil status documents; • Copy of documents attesting seniority: work book / revision extract / certificates of seniority; The selection will consist of: file analysis (eliminatory step) and interview.   Competition files are submitted to the Human Resources Department of  INCDTIM by 10.04.2024  Additional information 0264-584037 ext. 253.
