Offer Description

The position of Associate Professor mainly involves teaching and related research activities for three interrelated disciplines: National and international business contracts (master level. European and national business law program, 2h of courses and 1h of seminar/week), International business law (4th year, bachelor level 3h of courses and 6h of seminar/week), and Private international law (4th year, bachelor level, 2h of seminars /week).

Skills/Qualifications

Candidates for this position must meet all the scientific criteria established by the applicable university legislation or by the University's own regulations, in order to prove that they fit the profile of a nationally recognized teacher and researcher. Thus, the candidates must have the scientific record in accordance with the specified scientific field and with the job description, respectively with its specialisation. Regarding the research component, the person holding this position is required to carry out research activities, including involvement in national and international research programs, the organisation of scientific conferences and / or active participation in such events or the involvement of in programs that encourage undergraduate students to improve their scientific performance (circles or meetings on various topics). In addition, the position requires involvement in all aspects of the academic life of the Faculty of Law and the University, respectively the assumption of the necessary administrative tasks for this purpose.


Specific Requirements

International business law and Private international law are fundamental disciplines in the program of the Faculty of Law, essential for the basic training of a law graduate.

National and international business contracts is a specialised discipline, studied within the master program " European and national business law". It focuses on the analysis of main commercial contracts and their clauses, from an internal, comparative and international perspective.
