Offer Description

The Associate Professor, position 4, shall cover a research trajectory which includes research and teaching activities in the field of psycho-pedagogical research methodology, and research on interventions for children with neurodevelopmental disorders. Given the research trajectory of this vacant position, included in the Department of Special Education's job descriptions list, candidates are required to have a scientific track record with relevant results in the field of neurodevelopmental disorders and evidence-based psychoeducational interventions. This position will support the department's direction of evidence-based psychoeducational research and practice. Candidates must hold a doctoral degree in the field of educational sciences or psychology, and meet the eligibility criteria for the position of university Associate Professor on unlimited period contract, as set out by Decision no. 22.338/3.12.2018 on the Methodology for the organization and running of competitions for filling the vacant teaching and research positions at "Babeș-Bolyai" University andby Decision no. 149/15.11.2021 on the amendments and additions to the Competition Methodology for filling vacant teaching and research positions at "Babeș-Bolyai" University, and to the minimum standards of the University, in the field of education sciences, as set out in Article 28 of this methodology.

The vacant position shall cover a research trajectory, including holding lectures and seminars related to the disciplines listed above. The vacancy is based on a university norm of 11,64 conventional hours, which mainly include master's and bachelor's level lectures, advising students and master's level students in their bachelor's and dissertation papers; coordination of students and master students towards scientific performance scholarships; examination and evaluation of student activity; development and coordination of research projects based on national and international competitions; initiation of own research and scientific publications; taking part in administrative activities required for the smooth running of the department as a whole.
