Position available within the research project entitled: “Ecogenomics of uncultured microorganisms to unravel their functional roles in biogeochemical nutrient cycling in hypersaline stratified lake (UnCycle)”, project number PN-III-P4-ID-PCE-2020-1559.
Sampling and in situ measurement of physico-chemical variables of lake water and sediments; extraction of environmental DNA and RNA and sample preparation for NGS sequencing; bioinformatic analyses of data generated by NGS; metagenomic and metatranscriptomic analyses of microbiome associated with saline water and sediments; inferences of the microbial interactions within communities associated to saline water and sediments.
