Offer Description

Within the project "Targeting fibrosis in heart failure; challenges and possible therapeutic solutions based on the study of non-coding RNA molecules" PNRR CF 186/2022, ICBP "N. SIMIONESCU", 8, B.P.Hasdeu street,sector 5, Bucharest, announces the following positions:
- 1 position of post-doctoral researcher, full time, fixed-term (February 2024 - June 2026).
- 1 position of post-doctoral researcher, half-time, fixed-term (February 2024 - June 2026).

The competition will take place according to the following schedule:
- 19.01.2024 - publication of the notice;
-22.01.2024 - 25.01.2024 - submission of applications;
-26.01.2024 - selection of the files, posting of selection of the files at 10.00, submission of appeals by 13.00 and posting of the result of the appeals by 15.00;
-29.01.2024 - interview at 10.00, posting of interview results by 15.00;

30.01. 2024 - submission of appeals by 10.00
-30.01.2024 - results of the appeals procedure will be posted by 16.00 and the final results will be posted.

Skills/Qualifications

- Higher education: biology, biomedical sciences, pharmaceutical sciences or related fields;
- PhD in biology, biomedical sciences, pharmaceutical sciences or related fields;
- Knowledge of cell and molecular biology, cardiovascular system, pathology of the myocardial infarction, non-coding RNA biology;
- wWllingness to work with laboratory animals;
- A good knowledge of English, written and spoken;
- Computer literacy.

Specific Requirements

- Performs experiments assigned to him/her within the project and contributes to the development of scientific articles;
- He/she is responsible for the accuracy and scientific quality of the obtained results ;
- Participates in meetings with the working groups involved in the project, at scientific congresses;
- Elaborates scientific reports directly related to the activities carried out, in accordance with the specific requirements of the project.

Eligibility criteria

a) residence in Romania;
b) good knowledge of Romanian, written and spoken;
c) the minimum age required by law;
d) full capacity to exercise;
e) state of health appropriate to the post for which he/she is applying, attested by a medical certificate issued by the family doctor or by the competent health units;
f) no final convictions for committing a criminal offence, except in cases of rehabilitation.

Selection process

Documents required for the preparation of the competition file:

- application addressed to the Director of the Institute,
- curriculum vitae, signed,
- a copy of employment record or, where appropriate, a certificate attesting to the length of service,
- copy of identity card,
- copies of the diploma, degree certificate, transcript of records and other documents certifying specialisation, legalised,
- copy of doctor's degree, other diplomas or scientific degrees,
- criminal record,
- medical certificate attesting to the state of health, in original.
