The Fire Engineering team at the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) has an international reputation for the delivery of “world class” programmes in the area of Fire Safety Engineering and Management. As a consequence, UCLan is the choice educational establishment to provide educational programmes at the Ras Laffan Emergency and Safety College, based in Qatar. The college is purpose built with state-of-the-art facilities to provide training and education in the areas of fire safety and civil defence.

We are seeking a suitably qualified individual who has either experience of delivering academic programmes or has vocational and professional experience in the areas of fire safety engineering, to deliver UCLan programmes in Qatar on a contractor basis. We are particularly interested in hearing from applicants with experience in one or more of the following areas: fire protection engineering, enclosure fire dynamics, computational fluid dynamics and project management.
