1. The Evaluation of the scientific and curricular history focused on relevance and quality:

a) scientific, technological, cultural or artistic production;

b) applied or practice-based research activities developed and considered to have the greatest impact by the candidate;

c) the activities of extension and dissemination of knowledge developed in, namely in the context of promoting culture and scientific practices, considered of greatest relevance by the candidate; and

d) activities in the management of science, technology and innovation programmes, or experience in observing and monitoring the scientific and technological system or higher edication, in Portugal or abroad.

2. The following criteria will be mandatory considered and weighted:

C1) Integrated assessment of the candidate's scientific production, based on an overall vier of the merits of his/her scientific and curricular history, namely the coherence and quality of the CV; the diversity of scientific indicators including books and book chapters; patentes; articles in relevant journals in the area; scientific orientation experience; international interships and relevant experience.

C2) Assessment of applied or practice-based research activities developed and considered to have the greatest impact by the candidate, as well as knowledge extension and dissemination activities, namely coordination or participation in applied or practice-based research projetcs; technology transfer actions; organization of scientific events; participation as a speaker in scientific events; participation in activities for the dissemination of science.

C3) If deemed necessary, the best ranked candidates will be interviewed.

3. The weight of each of the defined sub-criteria will be as follows:

C1) 50%

C2) 40%

C3) 10%

The final classification (CF) will be determined by the following formula:

CF = 0.5*C1 + 0.4*C2 + 0.1*C3

4. The final classification system of candidates in expressed on a scale from 0 to 20 values, considering the valuation up to the hundredths. Candidates who score less than 9.5 in on of the criteria, or who miss the interview when applicable, are excluded from the procedure.
