Collaborate on the work plan of the project "StoSS - Sectorization to Simplify and Solve" of CEOS.PP - Centre for Organizational and Social Studies of P.Porto, namely:
The objective of the project “StoSS” is the broad study of Sectorization Problems (SP) and the development of a decision-making support system that enables the decision making process related to sectorization.
SPs often arise related to geographical issues when dividing a large region into smaller regions following specific conditions. Examples of this are the division of a region into political districts, sales territories or health care and policing areas, municipal solid waste collection or street cleaning, schools location and maintenance operations.

The work will be developed at CEOS.PP - , in Porto Accounting and Business School (ISCAP) of the Polytechnic Institute of Porto, under the scientific supervision of Prof. Isabel Cristina Lopes
A 3-month grant contract, which may be renewed for equal periods, up to a maximum of 12 months, on an exclusive basis, in accordance with the applicable regulations.
The amount of the research grant is €745.00 (seven hundred and forty-five euros), paid monthly, plus a voluntary social insurance reimbursement (a variable amount depending on the Social Supports Indexing), in accordance with the regulations, and according to the Grants for Advanced Training Regulation of the Polytechnic Institute of Porto, as approved by “Despacho P.Porto / P-086/2018” of September 24, and to the internal communication-proposal from 22/10/2018. The suitable amount to support the costs for 2018 has been entered in ISCAP’s Operating Budget for 2018, group 04, economic classification heading no. 040802B000, and funding source no. 443.
The selection method to be used will be in accordance with the following criteria and respective valuations:
