Overview
The Nanostructured Solar Cells Research Group is dedicated to the development of micro- and nanostructured solutions to improve the performance of thin-film solar cells.
We are looking for a qualified Research Fellow to join our team in the project “Development of PEM electrolysers and Development of ALK electrolysers”, under the PRR framework, under the Moving2Neutrality Agenda.
Job Duties
The job duties will be the following:
- Perform scanning probe microscopy characterisation of relevant materials for hydrogen generation through electrolysis;
- Develop and apply advanced atomic force microscopy methods for materials characterisation with a focus on catalyst materials;
- Support materials development and optimisation by collaborating with scientists working on materials and device fabrication for electrolysis for hydrogen generation.
Mandatory Qualifications
Education
- PhD in Physics, Material Science, Material Engineering, Chemistry, or similar.
Experience
- Experience with scanning probe microscopy;
- Experience with advanced atomic force microscopy.
