Overview
The Nanochemistry Research Group is dedicated to answering fundamental questions of chemistry, catalysis, and materials science in important energy and environmental challenges.
We are looking for a qualified Research Fellow (Postdoc) to join our team under the Moving2Neutrality Agenda of the PRR framework.
Job Duties
The job duties will be the following:
- Carry out 5 kW PEM electrolyser demo;
- Fabricate electrodes, assembly, and test electrolyser;
- Research, analyse, and optimise electrolyser’s performance;
- Test durability, reliability and performance;
- Prepare documentation, detailed instructions, and protocols.
Education
- PhD in Natural Sciences or Engineering
Experience and Technical Skills
- High technical capability
- Expert in alkaline electrolysis systems;
- Experience in electrode fabrication;
- Knowledge of electrolyser components;
- Proven track-record on alkaline electrolysis;
- Hands-on experience and lab work.
Personal Skills
- Attention to details, i.e., good observation skills;
- Excellent team player in multidisciplinary environment;
- Good writing, organisation, and communication skills;
- Strive to contribute with new ideas.
