1.Duration and Terms:

Duration of 4 months, starting in May 2024, potentially renewable up to the extent permitted by the relevant regulations. The granting of the scholarships does not generate or entitle a legal-labour relationship, it is exercised under an exclusive dedication regime, and the Scholarship holder is granted the Scholarship Holder Status, in accordance with the Regulation for Research Grants of the Foundation for Science and Technology, I.P., both in their current wording.

2. Activity objective:

The Agenda aims to transform the specialisation profile of the Portuguese space sector with new innovative, exportable and more technologically complex products and services, leveraging the entire value chain. There will also be 6 transversal projects dedicated to management, promotion, qualification, training and service demonstration initiatives. Spain recently saw the approval of its strategic plan for Aerospace Economic Recovery and Transformation, which clearly mentions the Iberian Alliance through the Atlantic Constellation. The alignment between Portugal and Spain to take concerted action in the exploration of space is thus evident, contributing to European sovereignty in this area.
